Alex returned to Blackstock after a three-year stint as Senior Reporter at property industry magazine Estates Gazette. Alex worked for Blackstock in its early days, utilising his four years of experience as an analyst and press manager at property benchmarking index IPD to drive coverage for our clients, and has since returned to lead our data and research section.
Utilising his strong data background, Alex leads our research function, pulling together data-driven reports and stories which tap into trends in the property sector and slot into the news agenda easily.
With over 18 years experience, Andrew is known for previous roles as a journalist and as spokesman for the British Property Federation and BAA. Having co-founded and exited high profile tech start-ups, he is a regular TV and radio commentator on business and politics.
Andrew set up Blackstock to offer clients a better, more boutique consultancy founded on having an external team able to understand the technical detail of clients’ businesses with the flexibility to act like an in-house resource.
Since joining Blackstock as an executive, Tom has quickly risen through the ranks to become a company director. With a background in polling and an influential think-tank, Tom uses his in-depth knowledge of the political landscape to clients’ advantage.
From leading lobbying campaigns on tourism VAT and rental housing to writing reports on planning policy, Tom works across the business to support clients’ needs and secure desired outcomes.
